Fishing Reports
Silvers are sneaking in...
The water conditions were low and clear but we had a good rain to help out. The chums are still thick and bright. One fisherman decided he could not catch another one because his arm was too tired and sore. The silvers were finicky but with enough coaxing they did bite. Fishing for silvers should pick up considerably in the next few days.

July's fishing
Sorry for the wait...

Since the close of the King season, I have been fishing for silvers just a few times. The river has been thick with chums and pinks, but the silvers are taking their time showing up. There have been a few caught, but not in the big numbes yet. On the other hand, the chums are as bright as a new nickel and fight like a fresh king. Lots of them, it has been fun. I expect the fish to arrive any day....

Alaska Salmon Fishing
Hello everyone, sorry for not keeping up on the Alaska Salmon Fishing Report but we have been pretty busy lately. We were fishing for the Alaska King Salmon until July 3rd. The run is at an end and we did pretty good some days and not so good on some days.

The water in the Little Susitna river is very low and very clear. While fishing for Alaska King salmon on the 1st of July we saw a few Alaska Silver salmon jumping in the river. We also observed a few Chum salmon entering the river also.

While we tried to find the Silver salmon and Chum salmon on a few trips we were unable to locate them. We have seen a bunch of wildlife on the river and it was nice.

We will start fishing for Silver salmon and Chum salmon and Red salmon on the 10th and I feel it will be good fishing from then on. I will let you know how we do from that date forward. Talk to you soon, your Alaska Salmon Fishing Guides.

Alaska Salmon Fishing
Hello everyone, today we fished the Little Susitna river for Alaska King salmon. We had 2 clients and we did very well. The King salmon we landed was 22 pounds and 50 pounds. Both of the King salmon fought hard and the anglers had a great time.

We also saw Moose, Eagles, Beavers, Loons, Waterfoul. It was a cool morning on the Little Susitna but a very productive one. We will be fishing tomorrow and I will let you know how we do. Talk to you soon, your Alaska Salmon Fishing Guides.

Alaska Salmon Fishing
Hello everyone, Today I fished the Little Susitna river for Alaska King salmon. I had 3 clients and the morning started off great. We hooked 4 Alaska King salmon before 7:30. We then boated a King salmon and then we fished for awhile longer having 3 other bites and then we boated our 2nd Alaska King salmon. We were not able to land our 3rd king salmon but we had our chances. This morning was the best morning on the river so far.

This afternoon was a tough one. We fished with 4 clients and we only had 2 bits. We fought them for awhile but we lost them. While fishing this afternoon we saw many Alaska King salmon breaking the surface. We observed this just about everywhere we fished. We will be fishing tomorrow and I will let you know how we do. Talk to you soon your Alaska Salmon Fishing Guides.

Alaska Salmon Fishing Reports
Hello everyone, today I will catch us up on the last few days of Alaska salmon fishing. It has been pretty good and also pretty tough.

On June 10th I fished with 4 clients and we had a very good morning. We landed 3 Alaska king salmon the smallest being 30 pounds and the largest weighing 39 pounds. We also had 5 other bites and lost 2 other king salmon. Kevin had 3 clients and landed 2 Alsaka king salmon and lost 2 others.

On June 11th, I had 3 no shows and went and fished for myself for a couple of hours. I landed one Alaska king salmon in the 20 pound range and a small Jack salmon.

On June 12th, I fished with 4 clients and we fished pretty hard. The water had risen even more and the bite was not really on that day. We had one bite and landed and 31 pound Alaska king salmon.

On june 13th, I had 4 clients and we fished very hard this day also. We only had 2 bumps and the water rose also during the night. I did not see many anglers with Alaska king salmon this day.
Kevin fished with 2 clients and they never boated any salmon but had a couple on. They enjoyed the fight but the river was very busy with fisherman.

Today the 14th, I fished with 2 clients and we did pretty good and i saw one other guide whom also did very well. We landed 2 very nice Alaska king salmon weighing in the 30 plus pound range. The water was lower but muddy from the rain in the mountains.
